Crushing Game

Those poor guys worked so hard, only to lose to Tappan, 78-72. They exploded from the first second. As soon as the ball was released, Andy snagged it, shot straight to the basket to shoot. Unfortunately, the ball refused to go in on that shot, and the next, made by Brady who went straight for the rebound. But they still stayed hot on the ball and fought for every point and took every shot they could get their hands on. Nick R. got injured. I don't know exactly what happened, I only know that at one point everyone on the court was at one end of the gym, and the next minute they were all on the other end of the gym, except for Nick R. who was lying face down on the floor clutching his arm. When he got up, he was dripping sweat and tears. I've never seen a guy that huge cry. But Nick B. had an AMAZING game!! He was all over the place and got a couple really good baskets. It was heartbreaking to see them lose. I've never seen Andy so downcast before. Poor kid. The fans weren't so happy, since we almost broke the new bleachers with our stomping, jumping and yelling. We were absolutely crammed on them, and there were still people standing and sitting around the gym. It was ridiculous.
