Why they put locks on Kitchen Aids
As you probably at least partly guessed, I was making cookies and I found out why they put locks on Kitchen Aids. It wasn't as dramatic as it might sound, but it was interesting! I had just put in an ingredient and put the top down without locking it, (I honestly forgot). After about 2 seconds of it being on, the top of the Kitchen Aid started bouncing and there was a grumbling sound. At first I was like, "What did I do?!" Then I saw that I hadn't locked it. Whoops.
