This week was crazy. Since I missed my usual week landmarks, (Tuesday night dinner, LH...), I kept waiting for them to happen and so was stuck on Monday. YUCK!
Yesterday, though, we went down to Adrian to visit the Fikes. Mr. Fike was harvesting one of their cornfields and had invited us to ride in his combine harvester with him. It was really cool! After that, we had dinner at Culver's in downtown Adrian and then had dessert at the Spotted Cow, which is like Washtenaw Dairy, but not quite as good! Then I baby-sat and the kids were angels and I got a lot of time to read my new favorite book, "Nicholas Nickleby." I LOVE WEEKENDS!
