How would you respond?
If your dear friends who you have known forever start bashing your political and religious beliefs, (knowing you hold them), but aren't speaking directly to you, should you respond? This happened to me today, but I didn't know whether to step in or not, simply because I was only overhearing this conversation. However, should I have said something?

I think it might be best not to say something. I've been in a situation like that (I think we all have seeing as what city we live in) but to force out our views on other people while they aren't even talking to us might seem, well, forceful. It does make you feel kind of useless just listening to them talk that way with out saying something, though.
